Sizes for Community Quilts
Adult lap quilts usually measure about 36" by 48"
Children's quilts can measure about 36" square to from 32" - 36" by 40" if rectangular.
A good size for a wheelchair quilt is 26' by 36".
We will accept any size quilt.
Labels for quilts are attached to kits and are available at meetings from Trish R., the Committee Chair. Quilters may also obtain labels for charity quilts they have made using their own materials. We ask quilters to put their initials on the the label with a fabric pen and you can see Trish for that too. Trish also welcomes suggestions of places the Guild could consider for future quilt donations.
There are still charity quilt kits if anyone needs a project to work on. Contact Trish and she will make them available to you in a safe manner. Remember your name goes into a pot for a drawing of a very nice gift for each charity quilt you make.
Here's just a few examples of donated quilts. Thanks to all!

The guild works on a variety of activities throughout the year. Members often gather for "Sit and Sew" quilting bees to work on quilts for charitable purposes. The Guild continues to look for opportunities to raise money for community organizations, to provide the comfort of a quilt to those in need and to get involved in educational experiences.
